DESCRIPTION:The MRC Toxicology Unit is honoured to host Dr Alexander Borod
 avka (EMBO Young Investigator and​ Assistant Professor of Biotechnology\
 , ​Dept. of Biochemistry\, University of Cambridge) to present a seminar
  following his receipt of the 2024 Lister Institute of Preventive Medicine
  Prize Fellowship.\n\nWe welcome you to join us on Thursday 16th October 2
 025 at 12:45 in the Gleeson Building Seminar Room for Dr Borodavka’s Lis
 ter Prize Seminar entitled: "What do Viral Genomic Jigsaws Teach Us About 
 Nature’s Self-Organisation Rules".\n\nProfessor Sir John Iredale\, Chair
 man of the Lister Institute of Preventative Medicine\, will then deliver a
  brief overview of the Institute and formally present the prize to Dr Boro
 davka.\n\nDr Borodavka has been granted one of just six 2024 Lister Instit
 ute of Preventative Medicine Prize fellowships for his cutting-edge work. 
 As part of the prize\, The Lister Institute has awarded £300\,000 to Dr B
 orodavka’s group to further his research.
