DESCRIPTION:Standard calculations of the statistics of the primordial pert
urbations generated by inflation are usually done at tree level neglecting
any loop corrections. In this talk I will review why this is almost alwa
ys a very good approximation. I will then explore how the usually small lo
op contributions could be enhanced either due to strong self-interactions
or due to infrared effects. I will show that in some theories\, the loop c
orrections can be so big that perturbative analyses is no longer valid whi
le the system is naively still inflating. Finally\, large loop effects cou
ld lead to interesting observable signatures such as strongly running non-
 Gaussianity (of nearly local type).
