DESCRIPTION:Coherent time-dynamics simulations of fermionic many-body syst
ems has long been predicted to be one of the key applications of quantum c
omputers. This ability allows us to probe a myriad of physical properties
with practical applications in material science\, chemistry and condensed
matter physics. We demonstrate that the retarded spin Green's function for
the 1D Fermi-Hubbard model can be recovered from the time evolution of si
mple observables after a specific quantum quench. The protocol we introdu
ce herein is naturally suited for simulation on near-term quantum computer
 s. If time permits\, we also present a new classical-quantum hybrid algori
thm for more efficient simulations of open quantum systems.
