DESCRIPTION:With the advent of JWST\, an unexpectedly large abundance of l
uminous galaxies at unexpectedly high redshifts has been discovered\, pote
ntially pointing to previously unknown factors governing early star format
ion. Simultaneously\, deep JWST spectroscopy probing the rest-frame UV emi
ssion of reionization-era galaxies has been providing new constraints on t
he timeline and topology of reionization\, enabling insights into how earl
y galaxies drove the reionization process. In this talk\, I will present t
he UV luminosity function at z=9-15 derived from several hundred galaxies
identified in 160 square arcminutes of deep NIRCam imaging\, and discuss i
mplications for early star formation\, the reionization timeline\, and ear
ly growth of ionized bubbles. I will then discuss these results in context
with new insights into the properties of ionized bubbles at z=9 obtained
from JWST constraints on Lyα emission\, demonstrating the power of simult
aneously understanding reionization and the properties of the earliest gal
 axies.
