 rac12\; BPS Nahm pole defects\nin N=4 SYM paying special attention to the 
 case of Gukov-Witten surface defects which\nhave only recently been studie
 d in the integrability context. Furthermore\, we will\ndiscuss how localiz
 ation results for one-point functions in these set-ups reveal an\nintrigui
 ng structure of perturbation theory.
