DESCRIPTION:We often\, for understandable reasons concentrate our efforts 
 on the data we have\, at the expense of the data we don’t have. If the M
 esopotamians had tapestries\, for obvious reasons we don’t have any of t
 hem\, but there is plenty of evidence that they did have them\, and I will
  review this evidence and speculate on how we should respond to proof of t
 heir existence\, and the important role tapestries must have fulfilled in
