DESCRIPTION:Many examples of Lino Mannocci's own work have been inspired b
 y Domenico Veneziano's Annunciation panel\, on display in the Fitzwilliam 
 Museum and currently the focal point of an exhibition curated by Mannocci 
 entitled _The Angel and the Virgin_. In this talk he will consider many of
  the themes of the Annunciation\, and the importance of this festival.
