DESCRIPTION:Refined invariants were introduced into tropical geometry by B
 lock and Gottsche in 2016. Since then various authors have investigated th
 eir properties and considered several generalizations of them. In this tal
 k I will explore some of the approaches to investigating refined invariant
 s and present a version of refined invariants in positive genus introduced
  jointly with Eugenii Shustin.
