DESCRIPTION:Most 2D lattice models (percolation\, Ising\, self-avoiding\np
olymers) are conjectured to have conformally invariant scaling limits at\n
critical temperatures\, which was used by physicists in deriving many of\n
their properties. Proving these conjectures requires finding "discrete\nco
nformal invariants" associated with the models.\n\nWe will discuss what is
a "discrete complex analysis" and how it appears in\nprobabilistic struct
 ures.\n
