DESCRIPTION:It is by now well understood that local and extended operators
  in a QFT are acted upon by generalised symmetries. In the context of supe
 rsymmetric gauge theories with interesting moduli spaces of vacua\, such a
 s 3d N=4 theories\, global symmetries may enjoy a geometric interpretation
 : they act as isometries of the moduli space. In this talk I will take a d
 efect-based approach to discuss an enhancement of the notion of moduli spa
 ce\, in such a way that it can capture higher-form symmetries and their an
 omalies. I will demonstrate in a simple class of 3d N=4 theories how previ
 ous results about symmetries may be reinterpreted in such a fashion.
