DESCRIPTION:Modern software increasingly demands memory-safe languages\, w
ith Rust emerging as a leading choice. Yet rewriting large legacy codebase
s is notoriously slow\, error-prone and costly. This talk explores automat
ic approaches to translating C and Go code into Rust while preserving sema
ntics and producing maintainable results. Our approach combines program an
alysis\, testing and fuzzing with the generative capabilities of Large Lan
guage Models. I will also share lessons learned and highlight current limi
tations in scaling translation across languages and real-world systems.\n\
