DESCRIPTION:Warps seem to be common in protoplanetary disks\, as recent ob
servations suggest. They may arise in inclined binary systems\, during clo
se encounters with other stars\, or from late-infall events. The warp sign
ificantly influences the disk dynamics and leaves distinctive imprints on
observations\, such as non-axisymmetric shadows\, and characteristic kinem
atic signatures. I investigate warped disks both in hydrodynamical simulat
ions to understand their formation and evolution\, as well as in synthetic
observations to characterize their observable features. Join me on a jour
ney through simulations to uncover the secrets of warps!
