DESCRIPTION:Warps are responsible for various global disc phenomena and ob
 servational signatures and have mostly been studied using global hydrodyna
 mical simulations. However\, their role in planet formation and affecting 
 dust instabilities is best studied in a local frame. I will present our re
 cent efforts in modelling dusty warps in a local shearing box and show tha
 t warps can cause dust instabilities that lead to fast dust concentrations
 \, much faster than the streaming instability. I will also show analytical
  and modelling efforts to investigate the effects of dust on the parametri
 c instability.
