DESCRIPTION:In N=1 SUSY breaking\,  general gauge mediation (GGM) is a con
 struction which encodes a SUSY breaking hidden sector into a supertraced s
 et of current correlators.  These current correlators are then mediated by
  an N=1 vector multiplet to the visible sector to generate MSSM soft terms
 .  My talk will a) outline this setup b) explore recent progress in extend
 ing this setup to models involving brane to brane gauge mediation of super
 symmetry breaking.  The second part of the talk will focus on a particular
  SUSY breaking  hidden sector model\, referred to as "ISS". This model wil
 l be outlined and then used as a particular example of the GGM constructio
 n.\n
