DESCRIPTION:Scientists at the University of Cambridge are studying not jus
 t the effects of climate change\, but what we might be able to do about it
 . Join us next Thursday to hear about work across disciplines to build act
 ionable ideas for tackling climate change.\n\n🌊 Prof Sasha Turchyn is c
 o-Director of the Quantitative Climate and Environmental Science programme
  and specialises in climate change and earth-ocean-atmosphere systems with
  the Department of Earth Sciences at Cambridge University. \n\n🔬 Cerys 
 Walsh is working on an emerging carbon capture technology called supercapa
 citive swing adsorption (SSA) in the University of Cambridge Yusuf Hamied 
 Department of Chemistry.\n\n🎤 Shreya Patel studies at the University of
  Cambridge Vet School\, but is also an active climate leader working with 
 NGOs\, attending COPs with youth-led ClimaTalk\, and formerly President of
  Cambridge Climate Society.\n\nCelebrating International Day of Women & Gi
 rls in Science\, this is a chance to hear about varied and vital work to t
 ackle climate change. Join us at the Department of Engineering at the Univ
