DESCRIPTION:We present a family of groups\, introduced by Le Boudec\, cons
 isting of automorphisms of regular trees with "almost prescribed" local ac
 tions. We provide an algebraic characterization for the vanishing of their
  continuous bounded cohomology. Specifically\, we prove that these groups 
 are boundedly acyclic when the underlying local permutation group is 2-tra
 nsitive\; while failing this condition leads to an infinite-dimensional se
 cond bounded cohomology.
