 hematica is a software package for numerical computation\, symbolic manipu
 lation and the production of graphics from mathematical functions and data
 . This course examines Mathematica's graphical capabilities in more detail
  than the "Mathematica: Basics" course.\n\nDuration: One half day session\

 culus is assumed.\n    * Prior attendance at the "Mathematica: Basics" cou
 rse or equivalent experience\n    * Those attending should be able to use 
 a plain text editor (e.g. emacs\, gedit\, pico\, vi) on a Unix system as m
 ight be obtained from the Emacs or Vi introductory courses.\n\nTopics cove

 hics\n\nSystem requirements: Mathematica v. 7 on PWF Linux\n\nNotes:\n\n  
   * No attempt is made to teach mathematical techniques.\n    * Attendees
