DESCRIPTION:In our experiments\, electrical currents have a range of inter
est that covers a factor of almost 10^20. Some of these currents need to
be measured with part-per-million (ppm) accuracy and others with precision
that is limited by particle statistics. It is fair to say that such requ
irements place exceptional demands on us as experimenters. In this talk I
will discuss some methods for measuring electrical currents\, in the cont
ext of helium scattering experiments. In addition\, I will cover tips and
tricks to eliminate artifacts\; basically\, it is all about how to do the
  job properly.
