DESCRIPTION:The Research Councils are encouraging researchers to be active
 ly involved in thinking about how they will achieve excellence with impact
  and to explore the pathways for realising the impact. For this reason\, t
 he Research Councils have introduced a “Pathways to Impact” section at
  application stage where researchers are required to consider what the imp
 acts of their work might be and how it can be realised. \n\n*The Engineeri
 ng and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) will be giving a present
 ation on “Impact” including\;*\n\n*	What is impact and why is it impor
 tant?\n*	What do I need to do when writing my application?\n*	Tips for wri
 ting a good Pathway to Impact\n*	Opportunity for Q&A\n\n*Who should attend
 ?*\nAnyone who has an interest in EPSRC research grants including academic
 s\, facilitators and administrators.\n	 \n*This presentation will be repea
 ted at 3pm - 4pm in Lecture Theatre 2\, Judge Business School\, Trumpingto
 n Street.*\n\n*It would be helpful\, though not essential\, if you could i
