DESCRIPTION:In multipath packet data networks\, packets may be received by
  a receiver in an order different from the sequence of their arriving at a
  transmitter\, but are often required by an application at the receiver to
  be delivered in the arriving order. This in-sequence packet delivery is i
 mplemented through packet resequencing. In this talk\, we present a mathem
 atical modeling method for the analysis of resequncing buffer content\, wh
 ich is valid for the three commonly used ARQ protocols. Large deviation re
 sults and exact tail asymptotics for the resequencing delay distribution w
 ill also be discussed. \n\nThis talk is based on joint work with Yanfei Ga
 o\, Minyi Huang\, Louise Lamont\, Jun Li and Yifeng Zhou.\n
