DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, we consider performance limitations for disturb
 ance rejection of scalar systems when feedback channel is subject to \ninf
 ormation constraints. Two kind of disturbances\, bounded and Gaussian dist
 urbances\, are treated in a unified manner using information theoretic app
 roach.  We show that the achievable performance cannot be improved if maxi
 mum information constraints are relaxed to average constraints.  Furthermo
 re\, we discuss the relation between information constraints and communica
 tion channel constraints.
