DESCRIPTION:Many structures exhibit sudden changes in their stiffness char
 acteristics\, e.g\, impact\, rocking\, or looseness. And when subject to d
 ynamic excitation this source of nonlinearity results in a variety of inte
 resting behavior. This talk will look a handful of case studies\, with an 
 emphasis on experiments.
