DESCRIPTION:The advent of attosecond technology and the generation of inte
nse ultrashort laser pulses raises the possibility\nto investigate atomic\
, molecular\, and nuclear physics at this new time-scale\, bringing a revo
lution in our microscopic\nknowledge and understanding of matter. Two fasc
inating and complementary challenges of Attoscience are to identify\nthe p
hysical mechanisms underlying the correlated multi-electron dynamics--of f
undamental interest to\, for instance\, molecular\nimaging--in atomic syst
ems and to devise schemes to probe/control these mechanisms.\n\nWe discuss
first the mechanisms underlying the correlated electron dynamics for two
fundamental processes: a) non-sequential double ionization in\nstrongly dr
iven He b) multi-electron ionization by a sequence of attosecond collision
 s when a single photon is absorbed by multi-electron atoms.\nCurrently\, t
he state of the art is time-resolving multi-electron effects in processes
where one electron leaves the atom.\nFor the first time\, we present the t
wo-electron streak camera that allows for time-resolving electron-electron
  correlation of\nintra-atomic collision dynamics.\n\n\n
