DESCRIPTION:Teaching students to prove is a relevant issue both for mathem
 atics teachers and researchers in mathematics education. In this talk I an
 alyze the issue from the point of view of a mathematics educator by presen
 ting some developments adding information to this interesting and lively r
 esearch agenda. \nOn the one hand\, learning proof is a long task that can
 not be completed just in a year\, so continuity through the school levels 
 is necessary. On the other hand\, it is a complex task that raises differe
 nt epistemological\, methodological\, etc. questions to be investigated by
  researchers.
