DESCRIPTION:Massively parallel sequencing technologies have revolutionized
  the field of cancer genomics. On a single platform\, it is now possible t
 o identify all somatically acquired mutations of all classes in a given ca
 ncer sample in real time. However\, a number of challenges to interpreting
  the data exist\, and necessitate the development of carefully tested bioi
 nformatic algorithms. I will present an overview of our approaches for han
 dling the data\, focusing on the practical issues\, common artefacts and c
 hallenges of current methodologies.
