DESCRIPTION:Professor Mike Hulme\, professor of climate change in the Scho
 ol of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and Fo
 unding Director of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research (2000 to
  2007) will speak about his work since the 1980s which has informed the UN
  panel on climate change\, the UK government and the EU Commission.  He wi
 ll refer to his most recent book 'Why We Disagree About Climate Change: un
 derstanding controversy\, inaction and opportunity' which was published in
  2009.
