DESCRIPTION:It has long been known that soft (i.e. low-momentum) gauge bos
ons lead to\nunstable results in perturbation theory\, in both abelian and
  non-abelian\ngauge theories. In non-abelian theories\, the structure of s
oft gluon\ncorrections can be described to all orders in perturbation theo
ry in terms\nof a special class of Feynman diagrams called webs\, for the
case in which\nonly two coloured particles are involved in a scattering pr
ocess. In this\nseminar\, I discuss the generalisation of this result to m
ultiparticle\nscattering\, revealing new mathematical structures in QCD. T
he results have\napplications to the resummation of large logarithms in QC
D phenomenology\,\nbut may also be of interest to people studying N=4 Supe
r-Yang-Mills\ntheory. The talk is based on arXiv:1008.0098.\n
