DESCRIPTION:In their work on linear equations in primes\, Green and Tao pr
 ovide a\nmethod to obtain asymptotics for linear correlations of arithmeti
 c\nfunctions\, provided those functions are sufficiently uniformly\nbehave
 d. In this talk we discuss how this method can be applied to the\ndivisor 
 function\, and possibly outline how it can be used to study the\nasymptoti
 c count of integer solutions to certain pairs of diagonal\nquadratic equat
 ions.
