DESCRIPTION:Recent results on the joint (or global) controllability of net
 works of interconnected linear systems using the linear structured systems
  viewpoint will be presented. These results are underpinned by a new notio
 n of controllability that will also be outlined. Criteria to determine the
  joint structural controllability of a dynamical network using only the lo
 cal structural controllability properties and the interconnection topology
  will be detailed.
