DESCRIPTION:This talk will provide an overview of the research findings of
  an international study (Canada/UK) funded by the Social Sciences and Huma
 nities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC)\, and focusing on the use of Com
 puter Algebra Systems (CAS) technology in university mathematics instructi
 on\, and on issues surrounding the sustained development of a technology-b
 ased approach to curriculum within mathematics departments. Highlights of 
 the literature review\, Canadian survey\, case studies\, national workshop
 s\, and web-based resource will be shared.
