DESCRIPTION:The need to provide more effective mental health treatments fo
 r adolescents has been described as 'a global public health challenge'. In
  this talk I will describe several recent projects in which computer games
  have been used as support tools in clinical interventions for adolescents
  experiencing difficulties such as anxiety and depression. This will provi
 de the basis for a more general conversation regarding the uses of technol
 ogy to support a broad range of mental healthcare services.
