DESCRIPTION:It's been known for some time that there exist modular forms o
 f\nhalf-integral weight on the group SU(2\,1). However no example of such 
 a form\nhas ever been written down. There seem to be no easy constructions
  such as\ntheta series. If one had a half-integral weight multiplier syste
 m\, then one\ncould generate these modular forms by Eisenstein series. The
  aim of the talk\nis to describe a half-integral weight multiplier system 
 on this group.
