DESCRIPTION:We have two inspirational speakers who have moved across disci
 plines within science and technology to talk about their work and what dri
 ves them. \n\nValory Batchellor began her long term career as a graduate i
 n Psychology. 25 years later she is a senior technical professional in IBM
  and attained Chartered IT Professional and Chartered Engineer status.\n\n
 Satinder Gill is a Visiting Scholar with the Centre for Music and Science\
 , Faculty of Music. Her PhD was in Psychology and her research is into hum
 an interfaces with technology particularly in relation to human movement a
 nd gestures. She has worked in Japan and with Microsoft as well as Stanfor
 d\, Cambridge and Middlesex Universities.\n\nThere will be plenty of time 
 for discussion. Come along and be inspired!\n
