DESCRIPTION:Tom Lada introduced the concept of strong homotopy algebra for
  a monad on a category of spaces and showed that for those monads arising 
 from operads every strong homotopy algebra is a deformation retract of an 
 Eilenberg-Moore algebra (see LNM 533). I will present a construction on st
 rong homotopy algebras in an abstract categorical setting aiming at genera
 lising Lada's result.
