DESCRIPTION:Technology developed for mental health settings sually aims to
  replace clinicians and therapists in  order to reduce pressure on mental 
 health services. Yet\, human support is one of the main factors in success
 ful outcomes. This seminar will look at ways that technology can support m
 ental health without reducing the human element by enhancing natural suppo
 rt networks and the therapist relationship.\n\nWe will present several ini
 tial models and ask the audience to carry out a number of activities to he
 lp us develop them further. This seminar should be of interest to any one 
 in healthcare\, inclusive design\, or technology.\n\n
