DESCRIPTION:We study the dynamics of traffic on a circular road by using a
  simple car following model. In case of no bottleneck the situation is wel
 l known. Especially the loss of stability for higher traffic density well 
 understood. Introducing a bottleneck the situation becomes more complex an
 d a completely different approach is needed.\nDoing so the bifurcations an
 d the dynamics of the bottleneck case can be studied and many new interest
 ing phenomena can be observed.\n
