DESCRIPTION:Strong dynamics models may provide a solution to the hierarchy
problem of electroweak symmetry breaking. In such models\, it is possible
that fermion masses arise via mixing with composite fermions of the stron
g\nsector. If this is the case\, it is plausible that the strong sector wi
ll also contain light bosonic coloured resonances that act as leptoquarks.
These would couple primarily to the third generation of fermions and woul
d be dominantly pair-produced at the LHC. We propose mass reconstruction s
trategies using kinematic variables for all the possible decay modes and i
nvestigate these against backgrounds including QCD effects\, combinatorics
  and fast detector simulation.\n
