  the range of design problems being addressed has ballooned from product a
 nd experience\, to services and social change. However\, the recession has
  now sharpened the questions being asked of design managers about exactly 
 what design can and can’t deliver.\n\n\n*About the Speaker:*\nKevin is f
 ounder and director of Plan\, a product strategy consultancy based in Lond
 on. He has helped the following brands work out what to do next: Ford\, HP
 \, Mars\, Lenovo\, Nokia\, Orange\, O2\, Psion\, Samsung\, Shell\, Unileve
 r and Yamaha. His background spans design\, marketing\, and engineering. H
 e is a columnist for core77\; teaches at CASS business school\, London\, a
 nd is a visiting fellow at his old design faculty at Northumbria Universit
 y.
