DESCRIPTION:Chemistry-climate models (CCMs) have become an integral part o
 f the UNEP/WMO assessments of ozone depletion. The talk will review their 
 current use and capabilities in the light of the most recent assessment. I
 n addition\, the talk will discuss their role in the emerging issue of geo
 engineering. Different solar radiation management schemes have been propos
 ed and CCMs are one way to assess their impacts. The talk will close with 
 general considerations of model sensitivities\, especially regarding the A
 sian Summer Monsoon.\n
