 aiming to break the land speed record with a pencil-shaped car powered by 
 a jet engine and a rocket designed to reach approximately 1\,000 miles per
  hour. It is being developed and built with the intention of breaking the 
 land speed record by the largest ever margin. Andy Green will be the pilot
  of Bloodhound SCC and is the current holder of the World Land speed recor
 d. He will introduce us to the progresses in the production of Super Sonic
  car and the engineering behind.\nGreen studied Mathematics at Oxford\, wa
 s Royal Air Force pilot and ran the Harrier airfield at Royal Air Force Wi
 ttering including a spell as the Commander of the Royal Air Force detachme
 nt in Kandahar\, Afghanistan.
