DESCRIPTION:Complex systems describe what is known as the 'emergent behavi
 our' arising from the synergistic interactions between simple components. 
 From eusocial ant colonies\, stock markets\, and weather patterns\, to the
  assembly of base pair molecules into DNA and ultimately\, chromosomes\, c
 ells\, and higher living organisms. Supramolecular chemistry investigates 
 how molecular species interact towards building complex structures from th
 e bottom up\, providing essential insights into enzyme function\, DNA stab
 ility\, and bacterial motility.
