DESCRIPTION:The newly created *Basic Statistics Reading Group* seeks to be
  a forum for grad and undergrad students at Cambridge who are new to stati
 stics. The aim is to: \n\n* weekly meet and discuss chapters of Wooldridge
 : Introductory Econometrics (2nd ed.)\n* invite lecturers for specific top
 ics \n* discuss each others quantitative research designs. \n\nThe group w
 as founded by a PhD student at Politics. However\, the approach is interdi
 sciplinary and students from Economy\, Sociology and Psychology\, as well 
 as Computer Science and Maths or other Departments and Institutes are welc
 ome to join.\n\nPlease get in touch with Nicole (nj248) if you think of dr
