DESCRIPTION:A day of discussion framed by John MacBeath and colleagues fro
 m the Faculty and including presentations from Headteachers\n\nKey questio
 ns include:\n\n•	How do we stay focused on learning in such uncertain ti
 mes? \n\n•	What do we know about successful leadership for learning?\n\n
 •	How can leadership be nourished and sustained?\n\nThe day will be intr
 oduced by John MacBeath who will offer a framework for our discussions.  A
  number of presentations from headteachers and others will provide the sti
 mulus for structured discussion and reflection with colleagues.  The aim o
 f the day is to revisit principles of Leadership for Learning and generate
  proposals which can guide practice and frame the debate about school lead
 ership.  The outcomes will be documented and circulated through the LfL we
 bsite to provoke a wider discussion.\n\nThe event has been designed primar
 ily for senior leaders in collaboration with a number of headteachers in t
 he region.  Limiting the participation to no more than 50 participants wil
 l enable us to ensure maximum engagement with the issues. \n\nParticipants
  are encouraged to bring a colleague from their senior leadership team and
  a second place is offered at reduced cost.\n
