DESCRIPTION:Sanitary engineering researchers typically work in interdiscip
 linary groups facing with problems that concern air pollution\, waste\, wa
 stewater\, water quality\, soil pollution. In many case studies modelling 
 plays and important role\, but  in a few cases conventional modelling cann
 ot give all the answers needed.  \n\nDuring this seminar\, examples of cas
 e studies will be presented for facilitating a discussion on modelling nee
 ds. The case studies will concern: human exposure to pollutants emitted fr
 om vehicular traffic\, environmentaI impact of sintering plants\, environm
 ental impact of bio-mechanical treatment of waste\, environmental impact o
 f waste incinerators\, eutrophication of lakes.\n
