 \, rising to become the first female Controller of BBC1 in 2000\, and was 
 most recently CEO of the incredibly successful production company Talkback
  Thames (responsible for The Bill\, X Factor\, Green Wing and QI among man
 y others). \nLorraine has witnessed significant change in the industry ove
 r the past 30 years\, not least in how women are viewed. Come along to hea
 r about how opportunities have changed for women\, if and where barriers s
 till exist\, what obstacles young actresses may face compared with their c
 ounterparts\, and discuss the route to success with a role model for women
