DESCRIPTION: The Basic Statistics Reading Group seeks to be a forum for gr
 ad and undergrad students at Cambridge who are new to statistics. The aim 
 is to:\n\n    * weekly meet and discuss chapters of Wooldridge: Introducto
 ry Econometrics (2nd ed.)\n    * invite lecturers for specific topics\n   
  * discuss each others quantitative research designs.\n\nThe group was fou
 nded by a PhD student at Politics. However\, the approach is interdiscipli
 nary and students from Economy\, Sociology and Psychology\, as well as Com
 puter Science and Maths or other Departments and Institutes are welcome to
  join.\n\nPlease get in touch with Nicole (nj248) if you think of dropping
  in or if you have any questions.\n\nWe are meeting Tuesdays 5.30pm in the
  Graduate Cafe – Meeting Room.
