DESCRIPTION:The seminar will cover the basic concepts of the BWR including
  its shut down and emergency cooling systems.  There will also be a very b
 rief explanation of the units used to express radiation. Information on li
 kely temperature profiles after the accident will be given using an MoD ma
 thematical model and an attempt made to tie up this data with information 
 released by the Japanese authorities.\n\nIt is hoped to be able to give an
  update on the current situation based on nuclear industry and MoD informa
 tion.
