DESCRIPTION:Due to multiple requests there will be a one off statistics cl
 inic over the Easter vac. \n\nThe Statistics Clinic is a fortnightly meeti
 ng between Statisticians and Machine Learners on one side and Researchers 
 (Graduate Students and Research Staff) on the other. The Statisticians pro
 vide advice on all questions relating to uncertainty\, hypothesis testing\
 , data modeling and inference.\n\nThe idea is to keep the threshold to par
 ticipation as low as possible: All graduate students and researchers are i
 nvited\, regardless of their field. If you have a lot of highly structured
  data\, or very little\, noisy data\, if you do not know how to test the v
 alidity of a particular hypothesis or infer an unmeasurable quantity from 
 observations of dependent variables\, you are very much invited to come an
 d join us.\n\nIf you would like to make an appointment\, send an email to
