DESCRIPTION:What do Samuel Johnson\, Mozart\, Karl Marx and Francis Bacon
all have in common (other than being dead)?\nAnswer: they spent considerab
le time navigating Soho's labyrinth of streets.\nEvidence indicates they w
ould have likely used their hippocampus and related brain structures to na
vigate to the myriad of coffee shops and places of ill repute. Until recen
tly this was only speculation.\nThis seminar will reveal the brain network
s used when navigating London's Soho and provide new insights into how our
brain keeps track of future goals during real world navigation.
