 mage to the country’s capital city\, Port au Prince.\n\n*Biography:* Pro
 fessor David Sanderson is currently Director of the Centre for Development
  and Emergency practice (CENDEP) at Oxford Brookes University. In December
  he undertook a study in Haiti of urban responses by international NGOs. \
